@achewood Is eaten food technically rotting inside you? It's pretty warm in there. Technically, we all not only live in, but *are* "the danger zone."

regardless of lactose intolerance, or any actualities, or of pulling the inevitable thread out of the precariously knitted sweater of analogy:
Anecdotal Observation:
if you put a bucket o' ice cream [1] in front of a kid, they'll eat all of the ice cream, and quite usually, succumb to "The Tummy Aches".
do it next saturday, and it would happen again, as surely as the Autobots would win against the Decepticons.
Feeble Hypothesis:
mankind sure is a lot like a kid and a bucket o' icecream.
-
[1] fond memories from childhood involve many milk products, especially the 1 gallon "tubs" of ice cream with the plastic handle that swivelled. the buckets invariably ended up in the garage, wherein screws would do whatever it is that screws do and multiply withing the buckets. and the casters to tables long since sold or given away. and the knob to a washing machine you never had.

Are you having summer nostalgia? The weekend longings on a Friday afternoon? Work related malaise maybe? This plus the outside thread! That little tooth avatar is gonna' be needing sunglasses if this keeps up!

The Toof
(TM)
definitely needs a clean-up job, though. That dang ol' photo's so dang grainy it makes me think of Grandma's photo album.
all polaroids stuck on black pages at the corners with those little stirrups
all plastic sheets between pages sticking to the birthday pictures
all tacky jewelry and bad clothes from decades ago
all ancient yellowed photos of well-dressed people not smiling

all posing as angels for a painting by da vinci.
all throwing spears at buffalo, then wearing the skins and dancing to appease the thunderbirds.

no, i was outside talking to someone and for some reason the ice cream analogy came out.
edit: outside looking at the clouds. so, yes, i guess the two are related.
edit^2andimdone: ya, he looks a little pekid, maybe he does need some sun.

you'd prefer:

or the 1.6 MB .GIF that some ***** on a car forum is using?

Well, I could possibly spruce up and give to you a better image of said Toof
(TM)
.
And yes, they're pretty things. They're so pretty I can barely make them out sometimes. Don't you want to be pretty enough to make out? Wait.
You're of age, right? 'Cuz I'm married, and I'm not propositioning.

Okay, this has gone on long enough and this is the damn Context - I could
swear
I've seen that fuck*ng Toof somewhere before. One doesn't quickly forget a face like that, all sinister by way of enthusiasm. Everyone with an Apple ][ emulator,
put your hands where I can see them

toothy the happy tooth is happy regardless of any making out conditions, because Damn!, he's a happy tooth. such is the allure of the Tooth, to me.
i want to be pretty enough to make out, like a prom dress.
only, just like a prom dress, after i'm used i too will need a coat hanger.
of age? youth is sad. the tooth is ageless, and yet cheerfully smiles at whatever i say: always reminding the internet merely to smile and nod.

i lifted the tooth 6 or more years ago. i don't remember from whence, other than that it was on the interweb somewhere. the tooth's opposite, the drugs kill, was from a police officer's site.
and no appleIIemu here, sir, but i am almost sitting on a mac512k.
