I was just wondering this morning when the last time we've seen Philippe was.  Also, have we seen Philippe in any context other than his campaign since he started his run?

Thanks for reminding me of the Loma Prieta quake, Roast Beef!  Thanks a metric butt-tonne!  (Dude just happens to be right as well)

I particularly enjoyed:

I bet The Philippe Times can be had for just a penny so that EVERYONE can read it!  You should never be too poor to read a newspaper!

Also, I'd like to read the caption and/or article that goes with the picture Philippe was drawing.

I'm wondering if Philippe had a dream about starting a newspaper.

Good to see more Philippe, and more campaigning. Not the best strip ever, but I chuckled at Roast Beef's sports page.

I just realized that I have no idea what the hell is up with Beef's sleeveless tee.

It puzzles me.

Isn't that such as what the punk-type kids would wear?  We have seen Beef in a Dead Kennedys shirt, after all.

I think that's correct.

He got it from the bottom of his drawer, where he keeps it for when he's in just the right mood to wear it.

that's one of my fav parts!  its the definition of, "Phillipe woke up one morning and decided to start a newspaper."  or anyone, doesn't have to be phillipe.  or a newspaper, it could be "Bobby Blue Bland woke up one morning and decided to hauk into the microphone."  or "Nas woke up one morning and decided to suck, but then a couple of years later woke up one morning and decided to rule." or [this doesn't get old] "One day Hamir woke up and decided to send reasons for hating intel via an email list dubiously delivered in an unmarked envelope."  or, "Ray Smuckles woke up one morning and decided (to do just about anything - you never know, do you?)" or, "One day sawao yamanaka decided to make the pillows the greatest band ever." or, "A. Goodman, W. Morris, and H. Ray woke up one morning and decided to write 'when the morning comes' and then one morning the moments woke up and decided to sing it."

Gregor Samsa awoke from uneasy dreams to find he had been transformed into a gigantic newspaper.
