Yeah. This would normally cue a long rant about Achewood "worldbuilding" (eeeurgh), but you know what? The concept of "hulls" is funny. Really funny. And, with luck, this will turn into a moderately funny strip series (unless Beef drives off and we see nothing more of him again). So let's go with it.

My call on the hull appearance is that it's probably a Red Meat homage, but it's also just a way of accentuating how bizarro the hull really looks (or possibly how bizarro humans in the Achewood universe look -- see the Johnny Cash strip). Works for me.

What the heck does Molly need in downtown San Francisco, anyway?

They must've stopped carrying "Knowing Smile" brand products in Achewood.

I like this strip, filling in holes in the Underground theory is interesting, if not basically unnecessary and impossible.  In any case, this explains all the weird-looking people driving around the SF area.

WTF is up with the f*c*in* underground?  It is silly.  It is silly to try to make the alive stuffed animals and talking cats match up with "our" world.
