Waferbaby's Corner Monkey interviews Ray

Meh. Two styles of humor that just don't mesh well, in my opinion. But then, I just don't get the corner monkey deal. The rest of Waferbaby's groovalicious, though.

I don't know, I kinda liked the way Ray was put off his game by the questions.  It's like, he doesn't spend time analyzing what goes on, he's just all about living like a natural being.  For a cartoon cat, I mean.

Part of the problem, though, is that the disclaimer on Ray's Place clearly states that Ray is a cartoon cat.

It could say "This advice appears on a humor website, and should not be taken seriously." However, with the admission that Ray is a cartoon, his rebuff of that accusation by the C.M. is undeserved and incorrect.

You're right.  But I've come to terms with the 'wood being consistently inconsistent and just go with it on a case by case basis.

Not that that doesn't jar the ol' suspension of disbelief sometimes.

That's true.  In his advice column, Ray is self-aware that he is a cartoon.  And is fake.

Yes, we're geeks. But if you don't enjoy us geeking out about the cosmology and underlying metaphysics of the Achewood universe (or, in summary, "whether or not Ray is fake and why Blister TALKS LIKE THIS") why are you on the board?
