That ambulance is the cutest vehicle I've ever seen.
What kind of evil human being would shoot a bunny anyway?

NEED MORE THREE PANEL ACHEWOOD
(Nothing against the longer strips, understand, but Onstad does beautiful things with a three panel strip.)

Smilin' Pat is kind of disturbing.
When we saw Beef grin, it was like, ALL RIGHT, things go well for Beef for once. Score one for the Beefster.
But with Pat it's kind of creepy. What's he
doing
to that rabbit, anyway?
And Rabbit Brains and Raddichio? Didn't I see that on Iron Chef one time?

Sometimes it works out that more would just be more for the sake of more, regardless of need. Today's a good example.
OMFG "little tiny brains all over the radicchio"
Roast Beefs speech patterns (as well as content) always kill me, especially when he gets all extensively graphic. Whoever figures out how to market Roast Beef colored glasses so the wearer can mimic his viewpoint is going to make a killin'.

Appearantly, the Chicago kind of evil human being. From
an AP news story
:
"In 2001, more than 100 rabbit carcasses with gunshot wounds were found in the park. No arrests have been made."

The same kind of cat that charges his close friends to use his toilet.

Agreed. The fuzzy tail rules on its own, but because of the way Beef points it out it owns.
That ambulance is awesome though. I love the alt-text about rabbits having a service infrastructure, too.
And just to suck: If Pat has .22 for shooting rabbits why did he need to steal Tic-Tac?

[gun nut]It probably was a rifle rather than a handgun. The .22, long or short, performs much better when it has enough barrel to burn all of the powder load and achieve full pressure and maximum velocity while the rifling imparts the spin that stabilizes the round in trajectory. A .22 round out of a short barrel is slow because a large portion of the powder charge is unburnt as the bullet exits the muzzle and only finished in the air space in front of the muzzle (this is 'muzzle flash') and inaccurate because the shorter barrel length of a hand gun has less distance to impart sabilizing spin to the bullet.[/gun nut]
Do you really think Pat wouldn't do his research and find the best match of cartridge/rifle for eliminating garden pests?
NO, I did NOT write any of those emails to Ray!

I would, and here's why.
Here is my ex-guinea pig (don't worry, I didn't kill him, I gave him away to a
no-kill
shelter):
Cute as a button, right?
WRONG.
The propensity of a guinea pig to just be a filthy disgusting animal, despite changing its bedding (and I used CareFresh Ultra == super-expensive, and ultra-absorbent) every two or three days, utterly astounds me.
These animals will go out of their way, no matter what you do to stop them, finding ways to heave their own shit in every direction, when they're not
eating
it.
They also have a nasty habit of getting scared of their own flatulence; if you have multiple guinea pigs, they will be scared by the other guinea pig getting scared; this starts a 3 AM feedback loop that makes you seriously consider snapping their little necks and making
cuy,
Bolivian style.
And this is from an animal I consider useful, because they prefer grass to any other vegetable, so theoretically they could serve as a natural lawnmower.
An aside: I always dreamed of having two side-by-side plots of land, one with midgets in tiny cowboy outfits, ponchos and chaps, herding hundreds upon hundreds of guinea pigs, right next door to Tutsi giants, in appropriately acromegalic cowboy outfits, herding hundreds of capybara.
Aside to the aside: I have since supplanted this idea with my idea for a 1700's themed gay bar,
Ye Olde Colonial Buggery and Fudge Packynge Shoppe.
Aa rabbits are every bit as stupid and filthy as guinea pigs, and as they also prefer vegetables that humans can eat, they deserve to be killed.[/u]

The visual of the rabbit ambulance "employing the method of hopping instead of rolling" makes my day. IMHO, it's up there with the Notorious L.I.N.C.O.L.N. shadows in the annals of truly gorgeous Achewood art.

Well, there are places overrun by the little furry buggers, and in those instances, I support people shooting them to then eat, and not for just sport.
Sport killing I find truly disgusting, but it can be necessary to level out species' population when we've screwed the planet up so bad that the natural predators can't keep up. Look at Australia - a continent formerly without the predators to get rid of the rabbits we introduced there!
None of this howver means I could pick up a gun and go out and shoot a rabbit.

My daughter can't comprehend that Peter Rabbit's dad went into Farmer MacGregors stew pot. And it says so right in the book.
Rabbits taste good. I can't speak for guinea pigs as I know only one person who has eaten them (in Peru).
But I can say that all kinds of people shoot rabbits. Or trap them. Or farm them so we can eat them. Meat is why we don't have 32 molars in our mouth.

At first I thought it was because he didn't want to use his own weapon. What with serial numbers and licenses and all. Then I realized he wasn't exactly being very stealthy or secretive when he went after Vlad, so your answer makes more sense.

Although one assumes every 15-17 days your involvement level in the mating aspect was different between the two of them. I hope.
They are both cute but I think neither is probably my type.
