What is the TOUAMB position on photo threads? Are they allowed, discouraged, what?

EDIT: Because I realized this post was totally unhelpful -- yes, photo threads are fine. The semi-mock-outrage/confusion is because, some time ago, it used to be standard for Paul (pmcd9) to post lengthy threads of photos, such that such a thread was generally considered to be synonymous with him.

Yeah photos are awesomeness, though for especially large ones linkage is considered more polite than inline posting, some of us still subsist on sucky internets after all.
Plus it gets the board layout all out of whack.

It has been too long.  I'll see what I can do.

Although I suspect that he/she's talking about a thread where the members post a picture of themselves.  I think that's a good idea.  Lots of new blood here.  We need to see some faces (and rude titties).  Of the newbies only Muse O Fire was kind enough to provide photographic evidence.  Also, the newbies would like to see a picture of the old guard I think.

Right now, I basically look like this except my hair is getting shaggier
this is my main pasttime, although normally I play Electric guitar

I do not have many pictures scanned in, let alone linkably online... because I don't like having a lot of pictures of me around.

It's creepy to have me staring back at me, it's unnerving. Covering the walls with pictures of me would be a pretty solid way of torturing me into talking. Also, I do not photograph well... I am somewhat heavy but a dude photographs flat-out fat.

I will dig around, though, as everyone seems to be going quid pro quo.

It's complicated to explain, but basically: the picture was the last shot from a friend's art-class photo shoot, where we had all been running around in insane costumes all night. I am wearing a stretchy tank top (which was "one size fits all" because she wasn't sure who to expect to volunteer) and a bra, and the straps don't exactly line up. Sadly, that is the extent of the applied nudity.
