Slightly less famous but equally controversial this season:

Tim Cahill, Australian player for Everton, recently had his brother jailed for an awful, awful attack on someone.

Upon scoring his next goal, in a show of solidarity to his brother, his celebration was to mime breaking out of handcuffs, before running to the corner flag and beating it up.
