"Artists need to make money to eat and to continue to make art. Artists used to rely on middlemen to collect their money on their behalf, thereby rendering themselves innocent of cash-handling in the public eye. Artists will now be coming straight to you (yes YOU, you who want their music, their films, their books) for their paychecks. Please welcome them. Please help them. Please do not make them feel badly about asking you directly for money.” -Amanda Palmer

It seems like the best way to prop yourself up for BCS consideration is to join the Big East.

If you're pretty good, you can beat up on a lot of crap teams but still be able to say that you're just playing out your conference schedule in a BCS conference. If you can hang for a season without losing, you're in the conversation...

While getting to play, like, Syracuses and Connecticuts all year.

It's a pretty rad way of going about matters.
