Much Better.
I think that killing Rita will be better for the show overall, since her character wasn't really going anywhere. All she turned into was just someone to get in Dexter's way and be annoying. That said, I did get a little emotional when that scene happened, just because I knew how much it was affecting Dexter. Also, it made Trinity's death that much better, since you know that all he was thinking about was Dexter finding his wife.
I'm curious how they are going to handle the kids now. I don't really see them continuing to live with Dexter. Maybe they will go with Rita's Parents?
