Well, ok, it wasn't
created
as a webcomic, but now it is hosted on the web. It's by Rodolphe Töppfer, who can be said to be the first comic book artist, like, fuck*ng
ever
(this story ended up being published in American newspapers in the beginning of the last century, and it's said to have left its mark there...)

Second suicide. Fortunately the rope is too long. Mr. V.B. believes himself hanged for 28 and a half hours.

Damn, that is eerily close to modern comics that I shamefully enjoy because they seem too delibrately angsty.
