Yeah, I'm trying to give Onstad the benefit of the doubt here as to why they are going through such an elaborate process to send the kid to see his mother. T's got a million dollars in the bank. Why doesn't he just rent/buy a car and drive Philippe himself. I want to believe there's more going on than meets the eye. Otherwise this whole send Philippe home storyline has been pretty stupid. In my eyes that's never happened before in Achewood. Sure the Lash of Thanatos story had an unsatisfying conclusion, but I never doubted the logic of the characters. I'm more than willing to suspend disbelief, but I need some reason why this makes sense. |
