the idea of a medical condition that only happens to a person during pregnancy is hard to wrap my mind around. i didnt mean to sound so overly dramatic, its just.... weird.
Dude, all of pregnancy is a medical condition that only lasts nine months.
And it's a good thing, too, because if it lasted any longer, no woman would ever have more than one biological child. As it is, I think the only reason we keep having kids is because apparently it's a big cosmic joke that all moms are in on where whenever a first-(second, third) time mom complains about pregnancy everyone tells her, "the second (third/fourth/eleventh) one is easier." It's a lie, a damned dirty lie, every child you give birth to sucks away a greater percentage of your remaining physical and mental strength.
You know that Duggar woman? If she'd stopped at two or she'd have been a nobel prize winner and olympic athlete by now.
I love my kids.

So Bill Simmons theory that women lose twelve percent of their "non-craziness" with every child is true?

My wife's theory is that pregnancy causes focal amnesia, so you don't remember how rotten you felt the next time the opportunity rolls around. I think a reasonable explanation for women like Duggar is that resistance to childbearing is a function of intelligence which gets eaten away with each successive child.
My kids are great. My wife is highly accomplished.

it's weird like what if there was a link between being a big fat hungry hippo and diabeetus?
oh well, at least diabeetus isn't, like, common, or, like, becoming more and more prevalent.
i mean, that would be horrible.

He has type-something diabeetus, which is genetic/inherited or something, it's the other one which is caused by big fat hungry hippo-ness.
I think. He's always been pretty svelte anyway.
