Amen to that.  Looks like a hoot.  Treasure the championship, they don't come around all that often.

I understand why a lot of people don't like the idea of publicly funded stadiums, and if you aren't into sports, hey, that's fine.  But one thing I think gets overlooked in the stadium debate all too often:  Watching sports can be fun.  They make people happy.  Lister and his fellow Auburn fans had a reason to be just overwhemingly stupidly happy, which is all too rare in this big mean world of ours.  I think that's worth something.

Nice deal for you and congrats. I recently had a pretty serious discussion with someone about what it means to have your team win a championship (for folks that it is important to). I'm just glad that I follow one team that has won it all.

Did anyone else see the final rankings? If so, did you see the ESPN fan poll? Amusing, to say the least (scroll down to the third poll).

A fan-poll ranking is such a joke they shouldn't even do it.  It's all about what fan base can mobilize the best.  Penn State #15?!

Ha. Well Auburn fans are too busy celebrating and Oregon fans are too busy licking our wounds to worry about any ol' dang internet poll.

I was surprised BSU mobilized enough folks to get third.
