Pug Rising: 3 - Pug Vegas is coming out soon for Xbox.

It follows the story of a photo journalist from Dog Fancy.   He's covering a Las Vegas dog convention when all the pugs simultaneously get loose and run free.

He has 72 hours to capture photos of eat pug, before the dog catchers arrive to subdue the dogs.

I played the first one.  Pretty good.

cute animals usually taste the best.

I know a person who is very, very happy right now.  He left our company to go work at Obsidian because a lot of the Fallout people were there... and then they got to do New Vegas.

Hope it works out for the dude.  Maybe I'll pick it up for my comp time week off if the bloom wears off the Civ V rose by then.

No, nothing is as boring as that damn game.

Or any game, really.  I don't care for video games.  Sorry if I've said that too many times, I don't want to become obnoxious on the point.  PINBALLZ 4 EVAR!!!

Carry on.

(in case it wasn't clear, I was talking about the game Oblivion. that game turned into "collect the flowers" for me way too fast.)

my friends found a weird pinball bar in Saint Louis and I really want to go soon. classic punk records on (in?) the jukebox, run by two weird middle-aged dudes.

lately I really want to play an RPG. Actually, exactly what I want is to either play Diablo 2 with my college friends who moved away, or play Neverwinter Nights 2. Unfortunately, NWN 2 is unbelievably unstable on the Mac, and since I downloaded it illegally I can't exactly call in and complain.

1026 cans for that. I don't care if it makes Ash mad.

Having gathered enough cans, I can return to my torpor until I am again awoken by something like... I don't know... archeologists or, maybe that Brady kid with a conch shell.

"collect the flowers"

What does that mean?  Why "collect the flowers"?  Is that a thing?

Oddly enough, it means collect the flowers. There are maybe a hundred ingredients with which you can craft potions, up to four ingredients per. Many of the ingredients are found as plants as you wander the landscape, and after harvesting (and a delay) they will regrow.

I'm kind of surprised a) this isn't in S&L, and b) it's sticky. But I don't know nothing about that stuff.

I started playing FO3 again based on this thread and NV coming out. Still lots of fun. I'm paranoid about my version being glitchy, though. Supposedly it doesn't get bad until the save file is 8mb. Right now it's sitting at 2.6mb or so.

Save often, is all I can suggest.

OK, so where are you, story-wise? Level-wise? What perks have you chosen so far?

I play a level 30 stealth/thief character with good karma and high medicine, lockpick, and science. Favorite perks are Grim Reaper's Sprint and Explorer; I wish I hadn't gotten the Mysterious Stranger perk, though, because I have Lawbringer as well and the bastard keeps poaching my kills. (Do I need to translate this into English? I get obsessive about stuff like this and may be over-jargoning.)

Are you aware of the Fallout wiki? It's a good substitute for the dead-tree version of the Prima guide.

Not a huge fan of explorer, because I can find everything in the wiki (as you noted). The first time through, when I was having issues, I'd maxed to 30, and finished all the add-ons, other than Broken Steel (I think). I also finished the main story-line. Reaper is the best, but do you have LeDoux's hockey mask? It's basically unlimited AP, and never breaks. I ended up with that and Chinese Stealth armor, and even Deathclaws trembled hearing my name.

On my restart I'm level six. Three intense trainings, comprehension (must-have), and toughness. I really like sniper. Bloody mess is nice for the damage add-on, but I kind of get tired of all my opponents exploding when I kill them. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to playing through it again. It's been months since I fired it up. I may open up my old guy and look over his skills today.
