My step-mom is a commercial artist - meaning she does these prints of cats and stuff, and puts them on mugs and calendars and stuff like that. She has met ol' Tommy a number of times. He's just a guy who sort of hit the lottery with the lowest common denominator-type art. It happens in art, music, literature, whatever. Dean Koontz, anyone?
