I crossed one off the list today -- ate tofu. It was good. Also, I had curry at a restaurant. I have only previously eaten curry prepared  from a recipe at home, so I was able to wimp out on the amount of spice. So I guess I can cross off two things -- tofu and real curry.

I have had Indian food one other time in my life, but I basically just asked the waiter to bring me the mildest chicken dish on the menu, and I don't even remember what it was. Today I feel like I had real Indian food for the first time, it was enjoyable.

Also, as we discussed, I had sushi for the first time a few weeks ago (and for the second time soon after, holy cow was it good). There are lots of foods I've never tried, but I'm working through them.

Other things I have never done:

...learned to drive a manual transmission (though this doesn't compare to never having learned to drive)
...slept with anyone I wasn't married to (technically)
...kissed a boy (or girl) with braces
...gotten in a fist fight
...kept a pet (my mother had a toy poodle when I was young, but we got rid of it when I was about

Oooh, yes, I've never played an organized sport, either. I competed on a few academic teams, though. And I have also never been arrested.

I have never successfully played poker. I can't keep all the houses or whatever straight in my head, and besides which, I'm a terrible liar.

Dangit, I keep having to add to this because of simulposting. Smells, Pedro was anti-Disney until he went. If you have a chance to go someday, go and laugh and have fun. It really is wonderful, don't confuse the place with the people.

I also don't have any tattoos or piercings other than my earlobes.

This is hard.  I've done pretty much everything you guys have listed except get arrested.  I've been in a bunch of jails and prisons tho...

Haven't been anywhere but the US, Tijuana and Europe.

Haven't had any affairs.  Never had a one night stand, or really any sort of casual sex. 

Lots of movies I haven't seen, especially from the last decade or so.  I'm such a fuck*ng old fogey.

Never taken heroin or crack.

Only lived alone for a couple of months.  Hated it.

I, too, have never taken heroin. Lots of opiates, but never the big one. But really, I don't think that's in keeping with the general idea here - unless you think taking heroin and crack are the norm, rather than the exception. I guess maybe I started that with the arrested thing - so I have no one to blame but myself.

I've been to VA, FL, and TX but never anywhere in the actual South (or what I think of as the South).

I have done heroin! but I have never smoked crack.  I think I have done meth, but it was supposed to be e, so it doesn't count?  I would kind of like to smoke crack, at least once. 

I haven't seen tons of movies, though I have been catching up in the last few years.  Still never seen:  Godfather (any), actually this list is hard to make, but, basically, if there is an "important" movie and it isn't made by the Coen Bros or some random french dude, I probably haven't seen it.

I don't have any tattoos.  I kind of hate them and kind of know the exact tattoo I want, so it's possible I will have one within the year.

And I know we have been over this, so sorry, but I have literally never experienced adult/late adolescents not high.  I mean, sure, for a few hours, but I have been high everyday except like 10 for the last 10 and a half years.

I've never been sky diving or scuba diving.  You can add snow skiing to that as well.  But are any of those really the norm?

I don't have a tattoo, but that didn't really become the norm until after I was an adult.  Don't want one either.

I've never been to Disney, but never wanted to until just recently.  I saw a friends pictures and it looks like a blast.  At least it's visually stunning.

I can think of a lot of stuff that I haven't done, but nothing that would seem weird that I hadn't ever done.

Sky diving and scuba diving was me trying to think of things I want to do that I've never done. Although having *never* gone scuba diving probably is reasonably unusual around here. Like having never gone skiing if you live in a snowier sort of climate.
