Making money from art is not vulgar. Art is a commodity. It makes people feel something. It raises the greater sum of human happiness. It increases the gaiety of the nation. It has a value. -John Allison

sometimes being the dependable one is a pain in the ass, but not for those that need you "after the axe falls".

It made the "paper"...that's the van that slid at me on it's side, we plucked kids out the top and then flipped it upright to get the adults.

I wonder if tomorrow's coverage is going to mention the civilians that got after it on sight until the pros arrived.

ALSO: Huh, my brain said it was a Mitsubishi right up until I looked at the picture and saw the Toyota logo. Some witness I am.

I certainly didn't do anything that noble. Did hell of yard work today. Roasted the New Mexican green chiles that I got on Friday (haven't actually eaten them yet though). Watched the Nats win for a change.

Asherdan for President.

Fuck yeah.

I nursed a hangover. Had a good breakfast at my favorite place. Then wasted a bunch of time trying to figure out what movie to go see with a friend, and then settled on watching Paradise Lost at her place. I'd never seen it and was interested in it with the West Memphis Three in the news recently after getting released. But the movie. That shit is fucked. Like right from the beginning. Then I met some other friends for a few drinks.

Sarcasm for the day: Accident at Jamboree intersection - not what you expected when you heard the name.
