Wine: Keep a red and a white on hand at all times. When choosing wines on the wine aisle, use this simple rhyme to make your selection: “Closer to the floor, is meant for the poor / closer to the lights, is more like for if Bono comes over.” -=RAY=-

Let's see... D&D, AD&D, T&T, M&M, Top Secret, Traveller, Car Wars... that's about all I can remember.  But it's been nigh on 25 years and many many brain cells kilt since I've actively RPG'ed.

Top Secret! I was involved, very briefly, in an extremely ill-advised Top Secret campaign as a wee kidling. It warms the cockles of my heart.

Anyway, as for weird things done with GURPS... I think I've only played in two GURPS campaigns that actually ran more than like three sessions:

1) An intentionally surreal game, GMed by me, in which the players were attempting to derail Vampiric Strom Thurmond's plans for government domination. Notable for horrible characters ("an anthropomorphic rabbit vampire slayer? Okay, Joe, whatever") and the occasional low shenanigan involving explosives.

2) A slightly more sane near-future game GMed by another member of the same group, in which we were Nebraskan high-schoolers (big jump here) engaged in guerilla freedom fighting against the Alien Oppressors. Enjoyably stupid hijinks until the first big gun battle, in which the GM revealed that he did not adequately understand the GURPS gun rules and thus two PCs out of four got pasted, including my Molotov-slinging slackass.

... God, I'm telling gamer stories here. Nerd ON.
