I'm all down with hella tomatos in my back yard. Also two massive potato plants, among many other things.
-
Eat Tomatos More Frequently has developed into a sort of a motto for me. It began as a bit of improv comedy in prank form. Just behind the house I grew up in from age 7 til 19 ran a rail line. Back in those days all of the street crossings were at grade so waiting for a train to pass through was a common scene in my memory of youth. On one such occasion while waiting at the crossing with my Mother and some other people, a car passed by stenciled in huge letters "ETMF." Having just learned a day or two earlier from my father that those letters stood for East Texas Motor Freight I decided to share my new found knowledge. So I asked "Hey, I'll bet you don't know what that means." So my mother who has this huge silly streak spouted out "Eat Tomatos..." and I, who has an equally huge silly streak completed her thought "More Frequently" I said, "How did you know that?" "Really" she said, that's incredible, I was just making that up." Well that's as far as it got because I couldn't keep a straight face. My Mom is a good sport so we had a great laugh. After that Eat Tomatos More Frequently became a part of our lexicon. Since I love tomatos so much I think it's a perfect motto for me or anyone who loves tomatos like I do.

Wow, that's a really cute story.
Make sure you tell your boyfriend that one after you're done sucking each others' dicks.
Fag.

This is from the dude that's just introduced us to his imaginary girlfriend.

Uh, Paul are you waiting 2 months to show us the progress of your tomato plant, or are you not aware that it's May instead of March? Or did your tomatoes fall into a chrono-synclastic infundilubum?

Well, OK then.
-
The kid's ok, though, right? I mean, the plant didn't do anything bad, right? Because that kid looks haunted.
also, you know how when some people go on vacation, they just end up hanging around the house?
-
Whoa. Those of us up here in the pathetic North didn't even realize anything was amiss. I thought that tomato plant looked perfectly normal for May.
Maybe I should take that job in Atlanta if they offer it to me after all.
-
I assumed this thread would be about lycopene and its cancer-fighting attributes. The heartwarming family story and the shaved dome (I approve) work just as well, though.

chrono-synclastic infundilubum
I think I love you. Let's have some sort of torrid Internet tryst that we will both regret eventually on some level, but holy crap, the word "infundibulum."
-
Steady V-Adore. Can we share him?
Mmmmm - mildly esoteric, post-modern reference dropping...

No arguments here. I'm perfectly amenable.
Besides, by and large I find it best not to argue with Motel 6 kinds of girls when it comes to matters such as these.
-
Hands off, you young whippersnappers, and go to your rooms. He's already mine.
-
Psst! V-adore! Just wait til she falls asleep in the recliner, then we can sneak back out!
-
WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE?
Jeez, he even spelled it wrong and got you ladies all twisted into a writhing pile of moist!
Please arrange meetings/dates/secret-society-orgies/&c. via PM. August, I expect you to keep a far better grip on your harem.
-
Ladies, ladies -- calm yourselves, please. There's plenty of me to go around. After all, August is a long month.
-
Well that clinches it, Choopernickel is definitely not getting invited to join me and Nabu and Asherdan's great fancy-breakfast-making polygamous marriage commune in Utah.
-
Polygamists need not apply. I'm a one-woman man, baby. Besides, my missus already makes the best coffee cake in existence, and it complements my frittatas perfectly. I've got all of my marital and breakfastly needs covered.
-
Ain't he sweet? Couldn't you just die?
-
Well you could at least post the dang recipes, then.
-
As you wish (http://achewood.plagiarist.com/viewtopic.php?p=18968#18968), at least for the frittata. If I can coax the coffee cake recipe out of milady, I'll post it when I can.

::squints at screen::
::runs to bookcase::
::squints again::
Well, I'll be danged, he did. And I apologize for excessive nerdish excitation; until the boy gets here (5 weeks from now!) I gotta take my pleasures where I can.

Dude! Quit firin' on my chicks!
My friends and I have decided that the rule for firing on other dudes chicks is thus:
NO HARM, NO FOUL.
-
Word. Every being for itself.
-
When it comes to guys who use the word "infundibulum," I am generally inclined to be generous to all... er... well, all available candidates. As it were.
So many dirty ways to end this sentence, so much remaining shame. I should work on that.
