Check out the Stairway to Heaven track. fuck*ng amazing. If it starts a little slow for you, just wait until it gets to the solo part. It's basically like Jimmy Page grew up in Catalonia listening to rock guitar legendsl.
And don't worry, it's an abridged version. This will probably not make you enjoy it any more, but things are quiet on this board at 11 and I don't think too many people will find this pointless at exactly the same time.
If I can find a better host for the song than Myspace, rest assured the link will be replaced.

Initially I was disappointed that there was no singing, as that is obviously such an integral part of Led Zeppelin's rendition of the song; but then, at around 3:15, they began to undeniably rock out. With acoustic guitars! Who knew?

Yeah I have never wanted to wave a lighter more at an acoustic guitar performance. Thanks for the hook up Judy.

Have you all seen the Finnish guy singing Stairway backwards?

Everybody, if you have not done this already:
1. Download Audacity. (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)
2. Using a microphone and the big red button on said program, record yourself singing/talking/yodelling.
3. Select your recording, go to 'Effect' and click 'Reverse'.
4. Enjoy!
Bozack, did the Finnish guy simply do this and lip synch? Seems mighty hard to sing reverse-ways without science.

Harold Bloom is supposedly capable of reciting Paradise Lost backwards from memory, but I cannot find any definitive evidence to corroborate this allegation.

Yea, not as hard as one might think. It's merely a acse of learning the sounds. You can learn to say something in another language without understanding it after all. Take your reversed speech, and learn how to say it that way round, then record that and reverse it again. Hell, even Colbert did it on an episode of The Colbert Report; He spoke This is The Colbert Report backwards, then after the first break played that backwards (forwards) to get the understandable version.
