Got to post the link for the actual thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfl9zqDSqZ4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfl9zqDSqZ4)
Seriously though, how the hell did the Muppets end up ruining one of my favourite songs? Never saw that coming. Children's TV in the states is pretty imaginative; first that Stevie Wonder performance, now this.
By the way, if you have never seen Stop Making Sense, check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAuguTGcNrs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAuguTGcNrs)
Can't help myself... More 'Heads: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOMoy6HUxxM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOMoy6HUxxM). One of the best videos ever.

I thought the muppet version was actually pretty cute. What was wrong with it?

Yeah judy, stop giving kermit shit, it ain't easy being green dammit. Jim Henson is basically a god. And so is David Byrne.
but yeah this video made my day.

David Byrne's solo material is certainly worth a look as well. "Look into the Eyeball" and "Grown Backwards" are stupendous albums.
I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert when he came through Spokane a while back. He still has that same nervous energy. He walks out on stage, as though he might be afraid that he's bothering you. He leans into the microphone talks a bit about this song that he wrote, and maybe you might like to hear it. Then he starts playing and he has the charismatic energy of 20 men.
Such a good show.
Please enjoy his travelogue of Spokane:
