My bands name is The Happy Cheminal (THC- my vote) or Carpet (the other guy right nows vote). The third member gets back from studying in Russia in less than a week, so all will be solved (hopefully).
I think Nice Pete is smoking a cigarette, as that looks like a zippo kind of. You don't smoke bowls with zippos, so it is either a joint or a cig.

I wouldn't have guessed NP to be a weed-smoking man at all. Then again, he did make pruno in jail, so maybe he is down with recreating via toxins. Do you think that he actually mellows out when he smokes, or does he just get creepier and even more paranoid?

Stone-cold psychos do whatever they need to do so as to close out the voices.
Prune vodka, street weed, snorting Sleepytime Tea, whatever gets one through the night.
I, for example, took twice the recommended dosage of an over-the-counter sleep-aid. This is how very slightly crazy people block out the very tiny voices. It's how it's done. It's all a matter of scale.
Also: I love the term "elf-rock" so incredibly much as I'm convinced heavy metal is the funniest thing ever. More people should make reference to "elf-rock". This is what strips like this are awesome for.

I have heard that eastern Oklahoma is the meth capital of the world, so maybe St Louis is since, you know, it is a town with more than like 2000 people in it that is pretty close to where alot of meth is made.
Anyhow, I don't know if that is a meth pipe, it would be really fuck*ng hot, so maybe it is like one of those meth bubbler things, but other than that I don't see it. That, or, Onstad doesn't take into account meth physics, which is definately possible. Or Nice Pete gets off on burning himself, also a possibility.

yeah, for real. Don't they do that? I seem to recall "burns on hands" being a sign of meth use. Or is that Crack? I forget. Maybe both.

from my understanding (i usually stick to fun drugs) it would be both.
