I found this (http://raindog.net/ljimages/07-07-07_2008.jpg) when I was walking in an area Portland called "The Pearl". Thought you might enjoy the picture.
Some background from Swedish Landmarks in Oregon. (http://www.hevanet.com/sundvall/landmarks.htm)
Two blocks west of Immanuel Lutheran Church is Linnea Hall at 2066 Northwest Irving Street (between Northwest Twentieth and Northwest Twenty-first Avenues). The Swedish Society Linnea was one of the oldest Swedish societies in the Pacific Northwest and the only independent Swedish Lodge in Portland. Organized in 1888 as Svenska Bröderna (The Swedish Brothers), the group four years later changed the name to Svenska Sällskapet Linnéa, and this name appears on the cornerstone laid in 1910.

Heh! smick, what an unexpected gem of a landmark. I love it. I'll be saving that picture posthaste. Awesome.

As long as you don't live in one of those goddamned condos.

No, I live in Oregon City. It works, since I commute to Salem for work. I didn't want to move to Oregon, from Spokane WA, to live in Salem. Screw that. I want Portland at my disposal.
-
According to google maps it takes 57 min to get from Oregon City to Salem and 54 to get from Portland to Salem.
-
I don't drive from those places, to that other place.
