I actually suspect that this is quite common. "Another one off the market. Did I let her get away?"
The question is, will Theodor transfer this anxiety into one of those other common wedding neuroses. "Stop imagining tripping her as she comes down the aisle! Stop imagining how horrible that would be and stop bouncing your knee like you're going to do it!"
And of course:
"Stop thinking you know some reason why these two should not be joined together just because you masturbated about her last night. Stop getting out of your pew with your index finger pointed up!!!"
