When Onstad and Philippe were in Boston a couple of months ago, he checked in with his buddies Freezepop (http://freezepop.net). Hilarity ensued (see the news (http://www.achewood.com/news.php) for September 8).
On Saturday, December 20th, Freezepop will be playing in a very special show at the Somerville Theatre (http://scissorkiss.net/journal.php), with Scissorkiss (http://www.scissorkiss.net) and a screening of the comic book documentary Sex, Lies & Superheroes. If you'll be in the area, you will want to consider this for a relaxing, synthpoppy and comic evening.

(The otter-pop reference is to a drawing that Freezepop vocalist did of Philippe that graced the pages of the Achewood Reader Art pages, which don't seem to be around any longer).
