RUSTLE

I heard the newspaper rustle this morning, and it gave me quite a tingle!

Where have we seen Molly's folk before? Ramses and Showbiz I know I've seen for sure... but I can't seem to picture Molly's family.

Achewood / Cracked.com's List of the 8 Funniest Webcomics

A pretty good list. Achewood comes out on top, other than that its pretty standard. PBF, Dr McNinja, et cetera. Do you think Ontad knows about this? I guess we'll find out when the strip posts today, he seems to be pretty on top of putting the little links above the comic to Achewood's major appearances on other sites.

I didn't know about Creased Comics before reading it, so far I like what I've read, it might be a bit too close to Far-side for comfort, but this guy is definitely in a different mental space than Gary Larson and it certainly shows, which helps differentiate them. Its... a more-retarded mental space, I think. Watching his cartoon, Babycakes, is like watching Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job in slow motion, with down syndrome, and it manages to be as funny as anything like that could possibly be.

Also, I love Cracked.com's lists in general! http://www.cracked.com/modules.php?name=Category&catid=1 Some of them are in actual article format, but in general they're lists, and I manage to (A) learn something from each and every list I find there and (B) get a decent laugh out of each one too.

Science & Nature / Re: Xbox 360 Gamers Represent

My gamertag is: fantasticplanet

and I don't have Bioshock yet. All I have so far is Oblivion and Gears of War. Lately I've been playing the Call of Duty 4 beta on XboxLive, if you can get a beta token you should check it out, althought I think the only way to get one now is to pre-order the game, so the whole "trying the game before you buy it" is sort of ruined. Although, now that I've played the beta, I'll definitely pre-order it. If you enjoy FPS-style games, it's one of the tightest, most pleasurable FPSes I've ever played on a console.

Arts & Entertainment / Re: worst radio station ever

Here in Massamachussettettettss, we have WROR.

Seems, innocent enough, right?

Well, the infamous New England accent makes "R" sound like "AHHH" (amount of h's on the ah appears to be a regional dialect sort of thing). A few of their DJs have the accent, some don't.

WROR in the NE accent sounds like double-u-ahhhhh-oh-ahhhhh. Some of the really bad accents make it sound like they're just saying "wahhhhhhhh-oh-ahhhhhhhh" like some sort of bizzare crying/sobbing sound.

Obviously the person who owns and named this radio station must have been aware of this, so I wonder why they chose those call letters to this day. The DJs with the accent sound ridiculous saying them (to me, who has no such accent).

It's not quite KUNT, but it came to mind.

Achewood / Re: 8th August, 2007 - Dogg what in hell are you doing

Ray has two settings: wasted, and really wasted.

These outbursts are the result of his constantly lowered emotional inhibition. The dude says what he thinks before he's even aware he's thinking it. A great quality, until your best friend makes a comment like "Dogg what in the hell are you doing" and instead of explaining, Ray sasses in a mean way, rather than a friendly way.

It might be time for Ray to sober up. Or atleast not be so wasted that he's a complete asshole over such a small thing as dance-dancin' to sign into your bank in Japan. I mean, I dance-dance and its not even to log in to anything!

(if i get any guff for dance-dancing, enjoy a pre-emptive "So what if I like pressing arrows with me feet? So what if this is fun to me? Get away! Screw you! You're a butthole!")

The whole idea behind my handle started out as an STD you REALLY didn't want to catch, so I can understand your aversion to the possibilities it presents as far as images go
