I'm going to have to catch up with you guys later. Clearly I'm not getting enough air or something. Plus the cat thing.

I guess my discussion wasn't the kind you wanted. Thanks for letting me play, winner.

I rolled it out there for discussion Nabu, as I am continually blown away at the depth that those people at that time went to in order to build maybe the most fucked up version of shared reality I'm aware of.

I think your response is bullshit, so bite me lovely, bro. Go polish up your own class.

Well, sorry to twist up your undies as well.

I guess, for me personally, I see enough full-on racist bullshit right now, in my own day-to-day shared reality, that I don't need examples from the past to be shocked at (see Joel Ward's recent experience, for example). And indeed, I kind of like coming here and not getting additional examples of racism because of the fact that I am constantly undergoing a barrage of it. But I am happy for you that you have a low enough exposure to current racism that you find historical examples interesting instead of just another really depressing thing.

Wasn't Bond's a vodka martini though?

Not strictly. He's the origin of the Vesper, after all.

Oh man that's a longtime favorite - thank you for the refresh.

I think most people wearing their cap backwards probably need to be peed on by a dog.

I'm lots of times doing gin with a splash of ginger ale. I like the grenadine splash, too - I will check that out.

Think beanless chili.

Oh no you di'int. Now we're going to get "all true chili is beanless" and all that.

...see Betty White getting a tour of the Reptile House. Is anyone impressed by this? Because everyone but me was incredibly excited by this.

Betty White's a'ight but the phenomenon in general seems like hipster irony at this point. I thought Ash was going to go in a "how did you know which one to let leave the reptile house" direction.

Did everyone see the lowest difficulty setting? I would guess it was posted around here somewhere but I didn't see it.
