Inev, that thing you said on Twitter was brilliant, about how why are there even choices when everyone needs the same thing

Quote
People are not unique. We get older and need medical care and money for after we stop working. Why are there 20 different options

Seriously. We all want not to live in a cardboard box when we are old. Why can't we just figure out one way that works for everyone for old people not to die in poverty?

So right now it is still zero goats? I feel like we have been talking about goats for months, but you have been all goat talk and no goat action.

I can't keep track. How much livestock do you have now?

I wish that about every decade of my life so far.

Lately I keep thinking "I wasted my 20s." I would like to stop thinking that. In the end I am set up in a career, living in a city I love, and I made a lot of great friends. But I wish I could have skipped some of the anxiety and misery. And gone to Chile.

Count your blessings. Everyone gets the anxiety and misery, not everyone manages the other parts.

I'm a little concerned about his choice honestly. Another hound mix possibly with the same urge to run away... I've become very dubious about these transport programs that bring dogs from the rural South to be adopted in cities - they are not necessarily suited to urban life. And that puppy is past the critical socialization period.

But, don't let me spoil it. It'll probably be fine, overthinking these things is basically my job.

Not stupid in a good way... Aside from the stupid one, I'm also watching a kind of boring one called Sakura Quest. It's about a bunch of cute girls trying to revive a dying rural town.  One of those topics on Japan would make a cartoon about.

It would probably be good if all of this stuff you guys are writing convinced me to watch this thing, but I think about it for half a second and then go watch a stupid anime instead.

I got straight As through like 10th grade and a scholarship to College....just- it doesn't always turn out you know?

Like my bumper sticker says: I was an honor student. I don't know what happened.

Still, probably better to start out with the straight A record... if it's so easy to go nowhere anyway, having to start by climbing out of a hole can only be worse.

We talked for a few minutes and then she said she was going to grab another beer and would be right back. For some reason I decided to show my enthusiasm by saying "nice to meet you" in a very stern voice. She did not come back.

Oy, Inev, seriously? I mean, I am sure you are beating yourself up about this enough and I don't need to rub it in, but seriously.
