That looks good.  If you were just to buy a box of cornmeal, cook it on the stove in water (or, say stock) for awhile, let it cool, form it and refrigerate it, you have much the same product as the one in the tube, with flavors of your choosing already in there. That could be fun to try as well. You could even work peppers or onions or bits of bacon into it that way.

That does look tasty.
When I saw the thread style my mind immediately went in a cinematic adventure of you with a dogsled team, though, and now Im kind of disappointed.
