the "official" way is to use too much cream and whip them constantly over low heat until they're basically like pudding. i hate those. you just keep trying different recipes and the good lord will provide. all i need is eggs, some butter, and a rubber spatula, and i got my scramble all set.

try eggs with pot and whiskey, it's called the denver

Wow choop, I'm definitely gonna try this one tonight (sans eggs, they'd just take up space which could be filled with whiskey).

2 eggs per serving, a dash of milk, and a little cream cheese (1 teaspoon per serving).  Whip briefly in a blender, then pour into a buttered skillet at no more than medium heat.  Gently fold continuously with a spatula until the right level of moisture remains. Garnish with shredded sharp Cheddar.

I used to be a resolute believer in whipping them with a fork until the right amount of air had been beaten in, but with may wife's last pregnancy she became absolutely ravenous for scrambled eggs and I was in danger of getting some sort of repetitive stress injury in my forearm and resorted to the blender.

I make the egg portion of an omelet with a variation on this recipe, although it is really important not to whip too much air in.  The air slows the cooking process and the bottom of the omelet will be overcooked before the top becomes set enough to flip.

Well shit, then! At least the conversation's lively. And hey, I'm always happy to mix my dribbles with everyone else's. And even if my sarcasm-detector is off, are A-Cap's own pan-drippings always so sour?

That was pure sarcasm. I was living with a few dudes once and one of them asked how to make ramen noodles. I told him "You boil fuck*ng water and pour it over the noodles. Do you need help heating water to a boiling point or are you that fuck*ng dense?" The response from another housemate: "That's the nicest thing Acap has ever said to someone"

Guy at my watering hole: "Acap, why do you keep coming to Jack's?They just serve shitty burgers and happen to have beers on tap."
Acap: I was thirsty one day and I sat down. A year later, Jack's was built around me and thirst is a recurring thing.
