Hey, why not give some of us time to wake up so we can wish you happy birthday instead of posting a "Hey assholes, it's my fuck*ng birthday" message first, huh?

Happy Birthday, Miss Impatient One.  I hope it is awesome and that you do not feel old.

Mini hippo birdies.

That is, not mini ones in any kind of tight-handed way, just in that saying many would be boring and out of sorts with the rest of the phrase.

Happy Birthday!  You are not worse than Hitler (Official Backhanded Birthday Wish of the Office of the Mayor of Banana Town).

I dunno, before I accept this 'hug' I'll prolly want to know the VAT hit.

Worse! GST and PST. Screwed royally (well, her face is on everything at any rate).

In honor of your birthday, I will eat a Coffee Crisp bar (http://coffeecrisp.org/), a Canadian delicacy which has just recently become available south of the Border. Hooray for these milestones for Smells and Coffee Crisp, two of my favorite Canadians.

Thank you Carlos.  I take relief in knowing that I am no worse than Hitler.

In regard to the clip, my two favorite hugs are the first one with the little old lady, and the business guy who looks like he's going to just truck on past, but then stops dead and just hugs the guy.

Ash - it's normally 13%, but not on hugs - hugs are tax refunded when you cross back over the border.  (Also, did you know if you push really hard, the middle part of the toonie will pop out?  The added benifit is that if you can pop it out with your tounge, it is basically guaranteed that you will keep your lady happy.  But please don't do this infront of coworkers.  They will never understand... or if they do... well, that might be worse.)

jough, I wasn't being impatient, I was just sharing the hugs, and since it happened to be my birthday, I mentioned it.  Feel free to start an actual birthday thread where you say nice things about my pu$$y.  Or don't.

Wombat - I had no idea Coffee Crisp was a Canadian thing!  To me and many other Canadian kids, Coffee Crisp has basically always been the bain of trick-or-treaters everywhere.  "It's a chocolate bar... but it tastes like coffee!  Eww!"  I'd always have this final collection of mini-Coffee Crisps in my trick or treat bag along with suckers of flavours I didn't like and peanuts in their shells, that I slowly and grudgingly ate until Christmas.  Now that I've reached adulthood, I do enjoy them more, but felt sort of apologetic when I found myself handing out the mini-Coffee Crisps myself last Halloween.  They came in the mixed box of bars I bought, but thankfully the SO was happy to eat most of them.  They should really market it as "Coffee Crisp - the bar kids don't particularly care for!"

Finally, yesterday, everyone at the office was asking me odd questions about whether I would be in to work today, and acting all shifty, plus my old buddy from University works with me, so I assumed they were planning something.  I walked into a room where people were talking about a party, then everyone was whispering and would stop talking when they saw me.  But then I came to the end of the day, and clearly no one even knew it was my birthday, and the party they were talking about was a fundraiser for the theatre that their hosting in a couple weeks.  Sigh.  They were probably whispering that I smell or something.

It's okay though, I went out and bought myself some sushi for lunch, and a little cushioned basket thing for the cats, so all is well.

smells, I love you. I love you like the cool older aunt who tells me stories about her neighbor who had AIDs, and how she used to work for Disney, and then she married a surfer, and is canadian, and writes plays that win awards, and has an adorable baby.

I may have actually mixed some of those stories up. you are the Best.

Oh! Mini Coffee Crisp must be even better. We don't have those as far as I can tell.  You wily Canadians, still keeping the best for yourselves!

Sorry I missed this all day, but happy birthday, smells! It's a big birthday time, late September.

I wonder if March has a ton of birthdays in the southern hemisphere. Down there, it's coldest in June and July.

Hells yeah.

I am so happy that you had an awesome birthday.  If anyone deserves it it's you, Mel.

I was going to say something nice about your pussy but I figure that's more the kind of talk we reserve for Gina.

FILET MINION

Every time I see this it reminds me of The Venture Bros. for some reason. It sounds like something that Baron Ünderbheit would order to be done.

I still picture a little Igor made out of steak, personally. "AHAHAHAHA! RISE, MY... FILET MINION!!" (In the background, thunder crashes)

Tee hee.  I knew that it was your birthday choop, but I was uploading all my CD's and it was taking hours, and every damn time I tried to do anything outside of iTunes my computer got angry and froze up.  I'm sorry.  If it makes you feel any better, when I was uploading Cohen's Suzanne, I was feeling so damn guilty.  And then it was midnight and I still had 2/3 of my CD's left to upload.

Also, the on-fire bacon wasn't last week it was over two and half weeks ago, hence why I didn't know what was being referred to.  Last week I made a delicous herb-y salmon pasta dish with garden fresh tomatoes, taking the ETMF advice to heart.  It was not a mess.

Circumstances? Shame? Nay, I say, Nay! Plus thanks.

I been ignoring you all anyway since I picked up my scooter. The missus and I just took a little trip to our favorite bbq spot for dinner, and being out in the fresh air, cooling down now that it's fall, was just nice as plum pie. And tomorrow I'm going to see Gnarls Barkley. So there.

Love you, peace out, and all that tripe. Later.
