Philippe's imagining of what grownups do with dolls is the saddest thing, next to like sixteen potato bugs in the pool.

I always play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? with my dolls.

It's nice to see that despite Onstad introducing a magical accent replicator he was able to resist the lure of Talk Like a Pirate Day

One: Ray in that disguise looks like my dad.

Two: I have been known to put all my friends on Maximum.

Yeah, but Onstad's version of talking like a leprechaun is about 6.42 angstroms away from talking like a pirate.

There were quite a few emails from the wonks and dweebs at my office flying around agonizing over whether they should Talk Like a Pirate at their various meetings/presentations today.  Sadly, I remained housebound and could not find out whether anyone had the stones.

Are Empire Voice Donuts a Chris Onstad original idea?

Apparently voice donuts in general are an Onstad original idea. I'm guessing Empire is a brand name.

So if you get a Mexican Magical Realism Voice Donut, does it change your voice into the voice you think you have?

It changes your voice into that of Miguel's, the 300 year old Conquistador who lives on the edge of town and who will be married to your daughter the night before the Great Rains begin.

300 year old Conquistadors are only interested in gold. Haven't you seen Duck Tales?
