Although, if I had a spare $30K I could pay off all of my debts, and I'd probably buy a car that I couldn't drive due to my poor vision, but at least having a pretty car would make me look seriously into the scary surgery.

But wouldn't new lateral lines for the septic tank be covered under your insurance?

No.  It's not the result of an accident.  They're just old.  And hey, it'll be nice to get the pool of raw sewage out of the back field.

Congratulations on your incipient sewage-free state, August.

Also, it is always nice to have a good lawn tractor, especially if you have a large, rustic-style lawn. We're highly considering one given the state that the last owner of this house left the front jungle lawn in.
