that someone should really go fix up the Achewood Wiki, the Achewiki, which could serve as a knowledge base for all things Achewood?

since no one else has for whatever reason bothered to say it, let me just mention i think it's really bad ass that you have a picture of yourself with john darnielle and that john darnielle looks pretty concerned about it.

John Darnielle reminds me of Pluto, from the Mickey penis cartoons. Logic cannot explain this.

Probably everyone here should have old school pictures for their avatars, and when new people wandered in, they'd wander right back out again.

I think it's the eyebrows and their distance from his actual eyes.

He was.

Actually we were having a great conversation about the art scene here in Houston.  Particularly The Art Car Museum and The Rothko Chapel.

Quick -- someone recommend a Mountain Goats album to me. Other than Tallahassee, which I expect to buy posthaste.

we shall all be healed has its high points too, but tallahassee is the best of the best i think.

the problem is plenty of their albums are cassette-only and even THEN you basically have to be only two or three people removed from darnielle to know where to get one.  we shall all be healed and tallahassee are the only albums that have seen (semi) major label production and can be easily gotten in stores, to my knowledge.
