Not guilty across the board.  I hardly paid any attention to this at all, but I won't let that stop me from commenting.

Hadn't they found child porn in his house with, um, fluid evidence on it?  Or was that just a rumor?

Les see, OJ acquited, Robert Blake acquited, and now Michael Jackson acquited.  If I were Sadam i'd try to get my trial moved to LA.

Jackson wasn't tried in LA though.  It was a pretty conservative county, right?  I heard that the prosecution did a pretty lousy job.

Did anybody watch BET today?  It was as if Jesus had been acquited.  At least on 106 & Park.

Yeah, sorry man.  I guess I'm one of the few who took the whole thing kinda seriously.

i have no idea if he's innocent or guilty,
but i think the adage:
"all it takes is money" is particularly true nowadays

http://www.denverpost.com/business/ci_2794820 :
"Citigroup Inc., the nation's biggest financial institution, said today it will pay $2 billion to settle a class-action lawsuit"
...
"As part of the settlement deal, Citigroup has denied committing any violation of law, saying it settled "solely to eliminate the uncertainties, burden and expense of further protracted litigation.""
...
this here, this is the bestest sentence EVAH:
"Citigroup shares rose 10 cents to $47.78 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Its shares have traded in a 52-week range of $47.82 to $49.99."
...
"In May 2004, Citigroup agreed to pay nearly $2.6 billion as its part of the record $6.13 billion settlement by investment banks, auditors and former board members to settled class action claims stemming from the 2002 collapse of WorldCom Inc"
...
"In March, Citigroup agreed to pay $75 million to settle class action litigation brought on behalf of purchasers of Global Crossing securities. Global Crossing filed for bankruptcy in 2002."
...

and now, (drumroll please), the money shot:

"The New York-based banking company said its legal reserves are sufficient to cover the settlement, and that the remaining funds should be adequate for its future exposure to pending Enron- and research-related claims."

Sing it Mr. Dead Beatle!

"money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy.
There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time
It's easy.
All you need is money, all you need is money,
All you need is money, money, money is all you need.
money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money.
All you need is money, all you need is money,
All you need is money, money, money is all you need.
There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
It's easy.
All you need is money, all you need is money,
All you need is money, money, money is all you need.
All you need is money (all together now)
All you need is money (everybody)
All you need is money, money, money is all you need."

the bestest part is the letter i got from Citi yesterday:
"We are writing to let you that computer tapes containing personal account and payment history information about your loan were lost resently while in the possession of a third-party courier."

in summation:

I think Mike Jackson is a fruitcase,
and i am not surprised.

The Jackson Verdict should totally be the name of a terrible band.

Somebody should do something to make that be.
