@achewood Chris waited all day for the Comcast repair guy, and he never showed up. What is he supposed to do with this cream pie?

I go away for three days and there's no "Where's Carlos?" thread.  You freakin' people.

Anyway.  Me 'n' Mrs. del Vaca had another kid.

Catherine Margaret, born Tuesday afternoon.  8.5 pounds, not quite 20 inches.  Big sister Lizzie says "Caffwin!"

Congratulations, Carlos. All the best to your baby girl. And by the by, that is a lovely name you've chosen for your daughter.

I admire your spunk but honestly, a 1 month old child is not something you'd want to abandon for beer.

I must agree. Not only does that baby have an awesome name, it appears to have really nice fingernails. Pre-natal manicure, anyone?

Actually, this may be bad lighting, but what's with the bump or what appears to be a bump between the baby's eyes?

Dude, are you seriously critiquing the look of the man's child?  She's a brand new baby, man.  Wouldn't you have a few bumps n' such if you had to squeeze your entire body through a hole the size of a jar of mayo?  And wouldn't you at least furrow your brow after you had done it?  Wouldn't you?

God I'm cranky.

Anyway, big congrats CD, and to the missus.  Lizzie and Cathwin, eh?  That's deeply, deeply cute.  They're probably both gonna be such beauties that you'll have to totally be polishing your gun on prom night _Just to make a point that you are aware_.  As for now, enjoy the time before prom, and remember that one day you were a sweet young MR.D, taking out the future Mrs. D and your first date together, and how it all worked out for you, and how it'll all work out for them.  Om, my friend, om.

Yes you ARE cranky. I am not critiquing the look of the man's child. I am just making sure that the baby is okay and it's something simple like bad lighting, bumps + bruises, or typical baby soft head stuff. Babies are totally a blessing from your deity of choice and everyone should realize that more del vacas are totally rad.

YOU however, need to explain the bump on YOUR head, man.

Bobby, that's obviously her third eye that only shows up in photos.  Sheesh.

And Carlos et familia, congratulations.  I'm sure she will fetch you a handsome price at the baby trade markets in Kuala Lumpur.

Sara's head was perfect after birth, but the older one (Becca) actually had a head that came to a sloping point in the front for a month or so.

It's all good.
