I'm excellent at ignoring babies and small children. Apparently I need to teach this skill to others for the good of our economy. Also, sanity.

I also remember particularly enjoying the Baby Update where he said

"Today we donned our merkins and frock-coats and fed the baby a thin gruel."

That was a pretty good one.  Did someone already mention it?

Also, an ambo, (plural ambos, ambones) is an oblong pulpit with steps at either end.

Yes.  In this very thread.  Which you would have known if you'd bothered to read the entire thing before posting.

You're not exactly covering yourself with glory here on TOUAMB, Kai.   Either wise up or, as Ray would no doubt put it, step aside and quit being a douche.

Current baby status, 10/30: The baby ate her first french fry at Frytz today! Or, at least, a mashed-up bit from the eviscerated interior of a french fry. She was confused, but fed.
