http://www.beedogs.com/ is a site whose frontpage layout and slogan made me think of fictional web pages within the Acheverse.

"Beedogs.com is the premier online repository for pictures of dogs in bee costumes."

(In S&N for "small mammals".)

Is it just me, or is the internet getting more and more specific?  WTF?

That's the beauty of it.  No niche is too small.  No one is so weird that they can't find more members of their tribe.

I wonder if the beedog fandom will grow to the point that there is another rival beedog site (run by disgruntled former members of the original's community) and/or a stopbeedogs.com site protesting its existence.

Only the presence of haters can galvanize a niche and turn it into a subculture.

Edit: spelling > me.

I wonder if you just came up with a random, to your knowledge, non-existant concept, (cobine two disparate things, like bees and dogs)  created a site, and ask for content submissions, and see what you get.

Any suggestions?

Imagine that a genie grants you three wishes.  You wish first for unlimited money, natch.  Next, you ask for x-ray vision.  Your third and final wish is to be unencumbered by the consequences of your irresponsible actions.  After living a life of fun and frivolity, you realize that your existence has been empty and completely without meaning or purpose.  On your deathbed it finally hits you that redemption of your immortal soul can only be brought about by more beedogs.  But will you click the link?

You can reach me at (email).  I would love to hear from you, but remember: If you email not-so-nice things to me, a beedog loses its wings.

This is why you wish away all consequences including death.

The consequences of your irresponsible actions, obviously! Although you're right that the old-age loophole still exists.

Aging is the consequence of your actions on a cellular level.
