This statement made me LOL, as well as ROFL. Also, while I was reading it, "Hong Kong," by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, came on. In the song, Hawkins "speaks" Chinese, in the way that you claim to speak Russian as a child- he basically yells random syllables, although at one point he shouts, "EGG FOO YOUNG! CHICKEN CHOW MEIN!"

I have, in fact, taken a class on this, am returning to college to get a degree in this, and am hoping to get a job in a field similar to this. If I end up in a job actually DOING this, hey, as long as they bring the cash. It's a harder field to outsource than a lot of positions out there, I reckon, unless a company WANTS to see its daily corporate communication displayed on sites like engrish.com.

(and I almost let this post go with the "its" in the last sentence as "it's." I imagine I would have never lived that down, under the circumstances)
