God damnit, GOD DAMNIT, people.

Well... I guess it's good to know that know that newly made parents still stare into the face of the devil, because I don't have the balls to ask my own parents.  Who wants to get tattoos?

It is funny that Teodor is wearing the Tinky Winky costume.

Right after having a dream where he's taken for a gay bear. I see.
But where's the handbag?

This day will soon be at an end, and now it's even sooner... and now it's even sooner... and now it's even sooner...

AAAARGH

Some days I like to get drunk with a fifth of Ancient Situation and start shouting "So Zeno, think you're TOUGH SHIT huh? Well how about some of THIS!" and then walk across the room, making obscene gestures and shouting "In your FACE Zeno! In your fucking FACE!"

"Anigif"?  That's a word now?  I'm thinking of taking away your neologism license, V.  Or at least putting it on probation.

Anybody else think the baby looks a lot like Harold from Harold and the Purple Crayon?

Is it just me or does the baby somewhat resemble a very young Ritchie Rich?

Hey, don't look at me. I didn't come up with it.

She definitely is drawn in a sort of retro-baby style, isn't she? I think it's the one-piece.

All memorable animated/cartoon babies are drawn this way. It is just how the world works.

I'm drunk, and I thought you wrote "Zemo," as in "Baron Zemo."

Yeah, I've added "Double true" and "Baker's Dozen" to my regular repertoire of pseudo-hipsterisms lately.

I haven't really had occasion to use "snack attack mutha fucka" yet, though.

Soon...

Oh, and Slate has an article about the song, which I think is pretty spot-on.

I saw it while it was on (the rest of the show was lame - not even Jack Black could bring the funny) and I thought it wasn't a good parody of a rap song - I thought it was a good rap song that reminded me of early Beasties stuff.

Aha!
I missed SNL lately and suddenly I see all this strange talk spreading around the net (in my Dreamhost newsletter last) and thought it was just some weird ghetto nonsense that had no basis.

Now my eyes have been opened and I've found the video of this skit... the Patrick Swayze bit was the funniest... google being second best.

---

As for the strip.... I have noticed Onstad appearing in the strip way more often than he used to.. I feel I must brace myself for him and the  baby taking center stage while the other characters do their bidding 24/7 soon enough :|

If these strips only happen every so often, I'll find them great though.  Teletubbies!  hah!
A++ animated!

I like how the baby seems to have an antenna.  Perhaps the baby is Bluetooth enabled.  The way breast implants will be.

Null, I don't know whether to give or take away a Dr Pepper for that last post, so I did both.

Seeing as how the baby's back is turned to the reader the entire time, I thought it closely resembled the little faceless baby from Leviathan.

I agree with everyone that the appearance of the baby is worrysome.  Please don't make it a strip about the baby.  Please?  But the way Onstad drew the baby is so painfully cute to me.  I like that he kept her facing away from the viewer.  ...I was going to say "I'm glad we never see any human faces in the strip," but then I remembered the terrifying face of the hull (a la Red Meat), the head of Johnny Cash, and the BAM! cooking guy (whose name I can't remember right now), and I find myself envisioning the baby having a jarringly disturbing face like that.  In my imagination it's the face of the girl in The Exorcist, with spinning head action just like the movie, crossed with a little Trainspotting... yeah, if the baby had to have a face, I could handle it if it were a crazy, wacky face like that.  As long as the baby is really far removed from reality, really terrifyingly disconnected from the "awe shucks" life, I can deal.
