Isn't it clear that through Ray Onstad is making reference to the great heroes of greek (and other) mythology? Ray looks like those around him but has features associated with beings of a higher order (in the greek mythology this would be a man who is part god here we see a cat with human qualities i.e. his nipples and wealth). These characters are marked for greatness and can achieve things not possible for ordinary mortals (such as becoming the ruling body).

Please try to keep up.

Yes but in Achewood mythology humans are equivalent to gods and have two nipples on the chest whereas ordinary people (stuffed animals and normal animals) either do not have nipples or have a different configuration of nipples to man (e.g. six nipples for cats). Ray has man-nipples and is therefore possesses the equivelant of godlike qualities when compared to his fellow animals.

The fact that Teodore possesses man boobs might indicate he is symbolic of the failings of man and represents some relatively benign 'evil' (a representative of societal oppression?) or simply a god that was cast down.

Of course, it is more complicated when your friends dont read Achewood because they dont speak English. Some of this stuff doesnt translate very well. But I try! With silly results.

So, in summary, only steal Mr Onstad's sense of humor when no one around you speaks English. This makes you Original and Rad.

Very much so. People think i just come up with this stuff when i use it in everyday speak. "Is he from Circumstances?" is one i've used a lot lately, and calling people "Dawg". It kinda bugs me when people take them too seriously, like "Huuuuuuuugsssss!!" and then start using them back, especially when you do not want real hugs from that person.
