No, cuitlacoche is the nasty.

Sweet mother of mercy, the contents of that can of cuitlacoche look exactly like the spoiled (expired?) paint I found in a few cans of scene paint back in high school when I was a theatre techie.  That rotten, festering mess introduced me to a whole new world of olfactory horror.

According to the Iron Chef episode natto is considered a health food. So it's something people agree is unpleasant to eat but apparently is good for you so some people suck it up and eat it anyway.

Quote
Natto for example contains a compound Pyrazine, which not only gives natto its distinct smell, but also reduces the likelihood of blood clotting. It also contains a serine protease type enzyme called nattokinase[1] which may also reduce blood clotting both by direct fibrinolysis of clots, and inhibition of the plasma protein plasminogen activator inhibitor 1. This may help to avoid thrombosis, as for example in heart attacks, pulmonary embolism, or strokes.

Plus lots of Vitamin K apparently.

And as mentioned, unfermented soy beans should never be given to children, as they either induce, or contain larger quantities of oestrogen, which isn't so good. So all this soy milk is a bad thing. Also it's considered torture under the geneve convention!

Nattokinase is my new favorite enzyme. This is all.

Fuck yes.

I am eating a daifuku RIGHT NOW. It is the size of a silver dollar. I have five more, motherfuckers. There is a rad grocery not too far from here that has tons of 'em.

God damn it's good to be back in civilization.

I wonder what the thought process is that goes from "What the hell happened to my corn crop" to "Mmmm, yummy!"

It probably is influenced by starvation.

(Huitlacoche, btw)

No, cuitlacoche is the nasty.

No wait, Bun Dae Ki is the nasty.

Balut is the nasty. And due to social pressure, I had to eat TWO of them.

Man, that's just awful. I guess that hardcore meatatarians don't bat an eye at boiling an embryo in its shell. YUCK.

Anyway, I'm gonna think good thoughts. Mmm, daifuku. Rice cake with adzuki bean jam. Delicious.
