"Artists need to make money to eat and to continue to make art. Artists used to rely on middlemen to collect their money on their behalf, thereby rendering themselves innocent of cash-handling in the public eye. Artists will now be coming straight to you (yes YOU, you who want their music, their films, their books) for their paychecks. Please welcome them. Please help them. Please do not make them feel badly about asking you directly for money.” -Amanda Palmer

Bossie's eyes and the splotches on her face give her a disturbing resemblance to Scrambles the Dog.  Then I looked at the archives to double-check and discovered that today is the fifth anniversary of that strip.  Eerie...  of course, if Ray had to stand on a stool for that it would make him smaller than Todd, but maybe if he grew up...?

No.  I refuse to contemplate that possibility.

Just noticed that Ray's cluelessness about non-urban things is once again on display in this strip.  "I shouldn't have yelled at him".  Isn't cow gender something that's covered on Sesame Street?
