@achewood Today's sad thing: A reeking tweaker couple looking in the gas station freezer for "that pizza that was good in the microwave last time."

The cold mind of the ancient Welshman is content with this daughter being a mason's wife, but is a tad more dolorous about a dude working with some lightning box.

Very lovely; art, dialogue ("lightning box", heh)... pity it's so short...

The absurdity is veiled by the poetic charm with which the poet invests it.

Onstad: {thinks: Goddammit why the fuck did I make Molly welsh? How do those fuckers talk anyway?...}

He could back out on his promise and make her from somewhere else, but then he'd be welshing on that deal.

If Onstad's history is any guide later in the day this will become a six-panel with the bottom three being:

MEANWHILE: and then Ray doing something dumb like getting an idea to wax his pubes into the shape of Edward James Olmos.

That really would have made it much better. I mean they had half-human trains in wales a hundred years ago.

Also, is that a tail on molly? That's a nice detail.

That train-mutant is going to give me nightmares. Nightmares.

Anyway. Bets on whether this is an actual ghost visitation or just Beef's anxiety coalescing into a nightmare?

Hmm, well the only other ghost we've seen spoke IN ALL CAPS. But he also did so while in Heaven, which none of the other dead did. So maybe it's just that Blister likes to yell, not necessarily a ghost thing.

I thought they had a classier setup than a mattress on the floor now that they were out of the trailer and in Ray's poolhouse?

My problem with her tail is that it is in the exact same position under the blankets when she is lying facing the other way, three years earlier.

It just now clicked that she mentioned in her blog that her parents might be able to attend the wedding. Weird. Eerie.

In both an attempt to show how the lightning box isn't real trade and a brazen show of the return of the Scandinavian Music Video rider, I present:
