The warmest it gets is into the 80s. The wind will blow periodically in the summer, as well, making everything very dusty. The bugs are horrendous. Actually, you can go into the modules and buildings out on the wellpads and look where the air intakes are, and there will be mounds of dead bugs, tens of thousands of them, in piles where the air enters the building.

and everything went better than expected. i got to exchange it for a new identical device because the awesome woman who runs the phones desk where i bought the broken one couldn't diagnose the issue ;)
