Scarier: Nice Pete or Anton Chighur?
« on: March 04, 2008, 12:52:36 am »

Nice Pete and Anto Chighur (Javier Bardem's psycho killer from No Country for Old Men) are each the quintessential gentlemen psycho, but who would you rather have after you?

With Anton, you at least have the option of a coin toss to spare you from death (unless he needs your car). Nice Pete's generosity seems to end at letting an Internet vote decide your future (and we know web surfers are more ruthless than fate). We've never actually seen Nice Pete kill anyone, however. Does this mean that he is too over-the-top for Onstad, or that he is simply a charismatic blowhard?

I think Onstad is fully aware that the mind of the audience is much better at evoking horror when left to its own devices.

Yeah nice Pete likes to win at basketball, this has been established.

That said at least there's a chance that Nice Pete will be distracted or decide you are good people. I'm fairly sure Mr. Chigur is incapable of seeing other humans as actual people.
