Mister Rogers Tells You From The Grave To Wear A Sweater
« on: March 19, 2008, 10:57:30 pm »

Well, it's actually Mr. McFeely, but still.

Makes me wish I owned a sweater. Sesame Street will always be #1 to me, but I watched more than my share of Mister Rogers too.

They said it best on MetaFilter... religions have been founded around men with less moral fiber.

Is it true he wore long sleeves to cover his marine tattoos?

Acap: I was thirsty one day and I sat down. A year later, Jack's was built around me and thirst is a recurring thing.

What about wooly fibers?

Is it true he wore long sleeves to cover his marine tattoos?

nope

You know who was a Marine, though? Montel f'n Williams, that's who. The article doesn't mention it, but he was the first black enlisted Marine to graduate from the Naval Academy.
