Yeah, it was work. my job market dried up in Atlanta -poof, gone- and we figured we'd give L.A. a shot. I'm actually making less money now, and the missus has a job too, and we're barely scraping by while socking away enough for the move back next summer, where we can have a house with an actual yard and the missus can return to the housewifery she and I both enjoy.

I would trade my actual yard for the weather and crazies in LA in a minute. The yard doesn't do all that much good when half the year it's either too hot or too cold to go out in it. But, it is nice that the yard here does stay perfectly still all the time like the ground beneath one's feet is supposed to.
