My roommates' band broke up because one of the guys is moving away. They had their last show while I was out of town and I am bummed. One of my friends made a video so I guess they somehow recorded it. The video is definitely not in sync with the audio (to the point that it looks like the wrong guy is singing the song??) but it is still nice to see.

One member is leaving, two of them are sick of playing garage rock. the fourth one is sad. Even before the one guy was going to move, at least one other member had said he wanted to quit because he is so bored of the band.

I think there are also a lot of interpersonal tensions.

They went to so much effort for that. Must have taken quite a while to build that costume and choreograph the steps and edit the soundtrack even inserting a woman's voice where appropriate. Then they film the thing in the rehearsal space with the mats and fans and an American Flag waving. You'd think they would have found a stage to perform on. What's even more confusing is they realize they are in a crappy venue because in some shots there are a couple of shitty pictures hung on the wall and in others they have been removed and you can see them lying against the wall in some shots.

I was thinking that costume was extremely well constructed. You have to imagine how much trial and error and breakage went into building that fucker.
