...did anyone else see that, in the Achewood archives? It was a few weeks ago, and in the archives it had a section before all the other months, but it wasn't just a month it was 'December 31, 1969'. The last day of the sixties...there wasn't a strip there under the date, and it disappeared eventually.

That's the UNIX Epoch date that PHP uses when there's a problem with a date entry.  A lot of systems revert back to UNIX 0-time.
